From Shanghai-based designer Fiona Peng’s Punk Pilgrim line, we bring you the aptly named Hong Kong large handbag—sleek elegance with an edge. Peng says her influences for this piece were London architecture and the Chinese character for “mountain” (山 or shan). An exquisite example of East-meets West style.
Specifications
The bag’s exterior is luxuriously soft synthetic leather with a wide band of 100 percent silk. A large glass jade pendant hangs from one side of the bag. The interior is a vibrant patterned cotton Peng likes to call a “lining explosion.” The large Hong Kong handbag is 15 inches tall, 13.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep (38.1 cm x 34.3 cm x 11.4 cm).

Apparently, I was the very first person to purchase this bag. And, I have to say that I get more compliments on it than any other purse I own. If I had a dollar for every time someone has commented on it, it would have paid for itself. It has plenty of room, yet you can easily find your keys. It’s incredibly unique and it’s a huge bargain. I love this bag!
